School leavers, parents and job seekers are invited to attend a virtual careers fair next week.
Your Next Steps Live - the STEM Edition, hosted by South Tyneside Council, will take place online next Thursday.
The event will focus on careers in the science, technology, engineering, maths and digital sectors.
It will provide the opportunity to meet major employers such as Dogger Bank Wind Farm, NHS Sunderland and South Tyneside NHS Foundation Trust, South Tyneside Homes, Department for Work and Pensions.
There will also be presentations from training providers including the National Apprenticeship Service and Connexions South Tyneside.
Cllr Mark Walsh, Lead Member for Regeneration and Economy, said: "This event will provide a great platform for people looking for work or anyone just considering their future job or training options.
"They will be able to speak to prospective employers and gain valuable insight and advice about getting into the world of work, how companies operate, the skills they look for and the types of careers available.
"We are committed to nurturing a workforce that is equipped with the skills to unlock the potential of exciting STEM opportunities and support South Tyneside's burgeoning green industries at developments like Dogger Bank and the IAMP."
Supporting young people and creating the conditions for recovery and investment are two of the council's key priorities.
Registration is essential for the online event, which will be held between 2 and 7pm on March 3.
