South Shields Riverside is a priority regeneration area that offers significant opportunity for high quality commercial and residential development.

The area runs from Harton Quays Park in the north, through to the former Commercial Hotel site in the south.

It is critical to realising the Council's ambition of a rejuvenated South Shields that benefits its residents, businesses and visitors.
