About the Course

This course is intended to help Academy Trust Directors/Trustees and Governors understand:

• their role and responsibility re the financial management of their trust/academy,
• how academies are funded (GAG funding and its component parts) and the academy budget setting process,
• the "musts" per the Academy Trust Handbook,
• how best to provide support and challenge to academy leaders re financial governance.

This course is suitable for all Governors in Academies
