Content:

• Exploring the theory and functions of emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA)
• Common emotional health needs linked with EBSA
• Strategies to support children who display anxious behaviours regarding attending school
• Support plans to aid the reintegration of children and young people back into school

• Staff are more knowledgeable about EBSA and gain an understanding of the topic
• Gain whole school and individual strategies to deal with cases of EBSA
