Contract Award for Primary Care Stop Smoking Services - The purpose of this report is to seek Cabinet approval to re-award the Primary Care Stop Smoking Services (SSS) contract to GP and Pharmacy providers through the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) process.
As required in the Constitution at Part D, Section 4, 18.0. The Leader as Chair of Cabinet sought agreement of the Chair of Overview and Scrutiny Committee to allow for the decision to be taken as it could not reasonably be deferred and the decision was urgent. The item was added to the Forward Plan on 8 July 2024 to be considered at Cabinet on 10 July 2024.
