Upgrade of the National Cycle Route (NCN1) - Direct Contract Award

5G Innovation Region Bid

The Council utilises a framework for its agency temporary workers via North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) through a neutral vendor (managed service) and NEPO are extending the current arrangement for a period of 18 months.
In accordance with regulation 72 (3)(c) of PCR2015, NEPO have made the decision to extend the NEPO508 arrangement from the existing end date of 31/10/2023 to 30/4/2025 due to the ambiguous operating environment.
Ongoing consultation and proposed amendments relating to the sourcing and supply of contingent labour for social care present significant uncertainty and risk the viability of a future solution.
