Course aims
- To help with those working with children and young people to develop an understanding of the risks to children and staff created by the use of digital technology, including the internet, mobile technology and social networking
- In addition the course will help staff develop good working practices with regard to their digital footprint
Course learning outcomes
- Understand online threats to children and young people through a variety of forms
- Understand how to protect children in a digital world
- Understand how to protect professional integrity online
