Set up a Direct Debit to pay Council Tax
Direct Debit is the easiest, most convenient way to pay your Council Tax.
You can choose to pay on either the 1st, 11th, 15th, 21st and 28th of the month.
You can pay over 10 or 12 months. If you choose to pay over 10 months instead of 12, your monthly payments will be higher but payments will not be taken in February or March. If you pay over 10 months, there is no need to cancel your Direct Debit when your Council Tax has been paid in full, the Direct Debit will automatically begin again in April.
You can also choose to pay weekly. Weekly Direct Debits will be collected each Friday.

Please note
To set up a Direct Debit online you must be the named account holder of the bank account to be debited and no other signature apart from your own must be needed to set up a Direct Debit. If this is not the case, you can still set up a Direct Debit, but you must print out a Direct Debit Form and send it to us by post.
