Overview
We want people affected by OCD to seek help, to understand their treatment options and find the support and motivation they need to fight back. OCD is treatable, it can get better.
Support group for Tyne and Wear
The group is for anyone over the age of 18 who has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Its members aim to support people with OCD. It has been in existence for about 12 years. Everyone who comes to the group has OCD. They are a small group, with a range of ages. At meetings, members take turns to talk about their week, and new members can join in if they wish, or just listen and get to know people.
The group meets every Monday (except bank holidays) 6 - 9pm.
