Overview
Combined Touch are a not-for-profit social enterprise and community interest company (CIC) based in South Shields.
They believe in a person-centred approach and that dementia care matters. The people who engage with their service are at the forefront of what the organisation does.
Their day centre is a place where loved ones can spend a few hours or all day. They will be supported by caring, competent, well-trained staff and volunteers in a homely and safe atmosphere.
They welcome volunteers of all ages and backgrounds and actively encourage retired people to come along and join in, either to sit and chat, have a cup of tea and a bite to eat, or provide support and assistance to service users.
