A chance to enjoy an evening of clairvoyance while raising money for good causes is on the cards for the people of South Tyneside.

The Mayor and Mayoress of South Tyneside, Councillor Norman Dick and Mrs Jean Williamson, are hosting a charity clairvoyant night on Friday 28 February, from 7.00pm to 9.30pm, in the Reception Room of South Shields Town Hall.

Tickets for the evening with psychic medium Kerry Clairvoyant cost £10 each and include a glass of wine or tea and coffee.

Money raised from the event will go towards the Mayor's Charity, which this year is supporting the South Shields Volunteer Life Brigade and NAAFI Break, South Tyneside.

The Mayor said: "These charity events are a great opportunity to enjoy a night of entertainment whilst helping to raise money for charities who do a great deal of work supporting residents and families across the Borough.

"This is just one of a number of events held throughout my year of office to help raise money for charities.

"The money we raise for these worthwhile causes will make such a huge difference, so the Mayoress and I would urge those interested to get their tickets and help us give these causes a real boost."
