Bus Service Improvement Plan

On Tuesday 26 October 2021, transport leaders approved the region's Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) at a meeting of the North East Joint Transport Committee. 

The BSIP is bid to Government which transport leaders believe will: 

• transform bus services across the North East
• greatly improve the bus network for millions of passengers, and
• help the environment
