About the Local Plan

Consultation on the Publication draft Local Plan (Regulation 19) and the Fellgate Sustainable Growth Area Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) Scoping Report took place between 15 January and 3 March 2024.

This consultation follows previous consultation carried out in 2022.

What's happened to comments submitted

We are currently reviewing all of the representations made to the Publication draft Local Plan (Regulation 19) and will then submit them to the Planning Inspectorate. 

In accordance with the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004, the Planning Inspector will consider all comments made within the consultation period.

Comments made to the Fellgate Sustainable Growth Area SPD will be considered by Council officers to help inform the production of the supplementary planning document.
