Dangerous trees

If a tree is posing a serious risk of harm or a need for urgent attention, please call our Contact Centre on 0191 427 7000 as soon as possible.

Further information may be required so please provide information such as:

• photographs
• street numbers
• post code
• location
• size and species of the tree (if known)

We will then deal with your enquiry on a risk-by-risk basis as quickly as possible. Please leave an email address in case we need to contact you.

If a tree has a rope swing attached in a public space, we aim to remove these as soon as possible. Please call our Contact Centre on 0191 427 7000 to report and provide further evidence such as photographs so we can deal with this quickly.
